SÖT COFFEE Kyoto
A 100-year-old traditional Kyoto townhouse renovated into a 10-seat specialty coffee stand and bean shop, located on Shōmen Street in front of Toyokuni Shrine. Equipped with Wi-Fi and power outlets.
The Kyoto Shichijō location is a 3-minute walk from Keihan Shichijō Station and a 7-minute walk from Kiyomizu-Gojō Station. It sits at the foot of the Higashiyama mountains, along Shōmen Street—an area that connects Toyokuni Shrine, SOT COFFEE, the birthplace of Nintendo, Higashi Hongan-ji, and Nishi Hongan-ji.
The shop is also within walking distance of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, the Kyoto National Museum, Sanjūsangen-dō, Chishaku-in, and Tōfuku-ji Temple, making it a perfect stop during Kyoto sightseeing. In addition to world-class, rare coffee varieties and unique processing methods, we offer homemade sweets and exclusive items like our Uji Matcha Basque Cheesecake, available only at the Kyoto Shichijō store.
