<p>SÖT COFFEE ROASTER Kyoto Shichijo is a specialty coffee stand and bean shop located on Shomen Street, directly in front of Toyokuni Shrine in Kyoto’s Higashiyama district. Set inside a beautifully renovated 100-year-old traditional Kyoto townhouse, the café offers a calm and welcoming space where you can enjoy our own freshly roasted specialty coffee, served as hand-drip or espresso-based drinks.</p>
<p>The shop features 10 seats, along with free Wi-Fi and power outlets, making it an ideal place to take a break while sightseeing or to enjoy a great cup of coffee at a relaxed pace in Kyoto.</p>
<p>Shomen Street is a historic route that stretches from Toyokuni Shrine past SÖT COFFEE, the birthplace of Nintendo, and onward to Higashi Hongan-ji and Nishi Hongan-ji. We’re also within walking distance of Sanjūsangen-dō, the Kyoto National Museum, Chishaku-in, Kiyomizu-dera, and Tōfuku-ji, making our café a convenient stop while exploring the Higashiyama and Shichijo areas.</p>
<p>In addition to world-class specialty coffee, including rare varieties and exceptional processing methods, we offer house-made desserts carefully crafted for coffee pairing, as well as our Kyoto Shichijo exclusive Uji Matcha Basque Cheesecake. We also carry freshly roasted coffee beans and a curated selection of gifts, making us a great destination whether you’re enjoying coffee in the café or taking some home.</p>
